OnePlus 11R grabs OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 with New Features

The tech giant is already testing the upcoming OxygenOS 14 Open Beta versions on multiple devices based on the latest Android 14. The last OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 released for the OnePlus 11 brings the smoothest OxygenOS experience in terms of app opening & closing animations so far, with a support of 120hz for all apps. Currently, OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 for the OnePlus 11R devices. Let’s check out the details.

OnePlus 11R OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1

The new update for OnePlus 11R is rolling out which is based on the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 version. This update solves tons of previous bugs, OnePlus users were facing. Currently, this update is only available in the Indian region. New OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 brings many improvements & fixes along with new features that OnePlus has to offer. Being a beta update, this update has some known issues which will be fixed in the coming updates.

Known issues:

• The phone fails to connect directly to the restarted car with the screen off.
• Card 2 cannot use mobile network after a call when the Auto Switch Data SIM is switched on.
• The screen isn’t off when lifting to ear to answer calls.
• Banner call notification pops up after returning to desktop from a full-screen call.
• Network error on the tablet side when establishing communication sharing of mobile data.

• Adds a carbon tracking AOD that visualizes the carbon emissions you avoid by walking instead of driving.

Kindly remember these instructions before updating:

• In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version.
• These instructions are only for the OnePlus 11R. Please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 4 GB of storage space is available.
• Carrier version devices (TMO/Verizon) aren’t compatible with the Open beta builds.
