HyperOS misses one major feature for Xiaomi devices

The highly anticipated HyperOS 1.0 is now available in China for some selected Xiaomi phones. The smartphone manufacturer introduced many features with HyperOS 1.0 but still one major thing is missing in the HyperOS 1.0 update and that is the blur in the system UI. Let’s see how it works.

HyperOS 1.0 introduced smooth and fast animations this time when you open or close an application but when you open the recent panel, the blur is still missing there. Blur adds better aesthetics throughout the UI and makes it more elegant and modern. Xiaomi’s HyperOS lacks some features but as the HyperOS beta testing is underway, more features can be added in the next coming updates.

As you can see in the above screenshots, the blur looks more modern when you open the recent panel. As of now, on the stable versions of HyperOS 1.0, there is no blur across the system UI but hopefully, Xiaomi will implement it in the next updates. Apart from this, HyperOS brings many new features such as a redesigned Control Center with a media player widget, new lock screen customization features, a new universal font, new boot animation, and a revamped design of system apps.
