These 4 Xiaomi Phones will get a HyperOS update in December
Xiaomi’s HyperOS is in the beta phase and some selected Xiaomi devices are running on the HyperOS beta version in China. But now the Chinese tech consumer has decided to expand the HyperOS beta version to more devices and these devices will receive a HyperOS beta update in December.
The HyperOS is next operating system which will replace MIUI on most of the Xiaomi smartphones. Lei Jun CEO of Xiaomi announced that the global rollout will start in the first quarter of 2024. Most of the smartphone OEMs are releasing their latest operating system updates on top of the Android 14 version Samsung has rolled out One UI 6 to these Galaxy devices but we don’t have any exact date when we will get the HyperOS stable update in different regions but Chinese users will be able to experience the HyperOS first.
According to GSMChina, Xiaomi has announced the HyperOS beta version for 4 more Xiaomi smartphones and we have already spotted the beta versions for them on Xiaomi servers previously. The smartphone manufacturer has announced that Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Redmi K50 Ultra and Redmi K50 Gaming models will soon receive the HyperOS beta version in China. Users can expect the HyperOS beta for these devices may arrive in December month. It is also important to note that the China beta version is only limited to Chinese users only, others will receive the final stable HyperOS 1.0 update.
HyperOS 1.0 will introduce many new features such as a revamped control center, new lock screen customizations, a new font, a redesigned app layout, etc. Also, it will bring the Android 14 features to Xiaomi devices such as the new privacy and security-related features. A new permission manager is also expected to arrive with the HyperOS 1.0 update.
