Xiaomi 14 Series with HyperOS to be unveiled on October 26

Xiaomi officially announced the launch date of the flagship Xiaomi 14 series along with the most anticipated self-developed HyperOS for Xiaomi devices on October 26 in China. The new Xiaomi 14 series will be the first device that will preinstall HyperOS 1.0 update out of the box. Also, it will be the world’s first phone with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the successor of the 8 Gen 2.

HyperOS Launch date

Now, it is official that the first version of HyperOS will be unveiled on October 26 in China. On the same day, Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi 14 Series along with the Xiaomi Watch S3 Series. Moreover, the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first to get HyperOS on Xiaomi phones. The Chinese tech OEM has already updated the existing system Apps to adapt to the new HyperOS version and interface. There are lots of new leaked features available on the web regarding the HyperOS update such as a New Control Center Layout, the addition of Lock Screen customization, a new UI design for the system apps, animations improvements, and an overall optimized experience.

Xiaomi 14 series will use the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 4nm processing technology and the CPU is even more powerful compared to the previous generation. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 comes with 1 x 3.3GHz, 5 x 3.2GHz, and 2 X 2.3 GHz CPU and the GPU comes with Adreno 750. Also, it uses a Snapdragon X75 5G modem with support of LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, WiFi 7, QHD+ display support up to 144hz refresh rate, USB 3.1 Gen 2, Bluetooth 5.4, Max 108MP camera, 4K video at 120FPS, and 240 FPS gaming support according to the leaks.
