Users from Indian regions can apply for the Open Beta 1 update for both OnePlus 8T & 9R devices. It’s a chance for those who want to try the OxygenOS 14 features on their OnePlus devices. OnePlus 8T & 9R Joins OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1
OnePlus is now looking for beta testers for the OnePlus 8T & OnePlus 9R devices to test the upcoming OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 update. Those who are interested in experiencing the first OxygenOS 14 features on their devices, can apply for the beta program. It is also important to note that this is the initial beta update based on the OxygenOS 14 version therefore it may contain some serious bugs or issues. Thus it is not recommended to install the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 on your primary device. You can wait for some more updates so that a maximum number of bugs can be fixed. Things to Remember Before Applying
- In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version.
- These instructions are only for the OnePlus 8T & OnePlus 9R. Please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 4 GB of storage space is available.
- Carrier version devices (TMO/Verizon) aren’t compatible with the Open beta builds.

How to Apply?
- Time of Application: From November 21 until a certain number of applications is reached (you must submit your application during this time, or the application channel will be closed)
- Quota: 5000 users
- Confirm your phone has been updated to the detectable version:
KB2001_13.1.0.582(EX01) [OnePlus 8T] & LE2101_13.1.0.583(EX01) [OnePlus 9R]
- Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply
- When to receive version: we will review your application within 5 workdays after the application channel is closed. If you pass the review, you will receive the version in the 3 workdays that follow.
- How to download the version after the application passes: Settings > About device > Download Now.
