Google has introduced an Earthquake Alerts feature in India that will use your Android device’s sensors to detect and estimate earthquakes. The same feature has been deployed in many countries around the world to provide people around the world with an early warning when an earthquake’s shaking begins. Steps to turn on and off earthquake alerts on Android devices:
Step 1: Firstly, open the settings app on your phone.
Step 2: Search for the Safety & Emergency option and then tap on it.
Step 3: Now, tap on the Earthquake alerts option.
Step 4: Enable or Disable the toggle to get real-time earthquake alerts on your phone.
If you don’t find Safety & emergency, tap Location and then Advanced and then Earthquake Alerts.
