Methods to Check Validity of Mobile Phone

It includes 3 different methods which we will explain you in next steps. But before that you have to copy your IMEI number from the phone, to do this dial #06# on your phone and copy IMEI number. Also if you are buying any new phone then you can find IMEI of your phone on the invoice or bill of the phone. Now just follow the steps to check validity of your mobile phone.

1. SMS

This tool or service is working without internet means you can check your validity by just sending SMS from your phone. To do this open SMS app on your phone, type KYM <15 digit IMEI Number> and send it to 14422.

After sending, you will receive a SMS in which you can checkout the Manufacturer, Device Type, Brand and Model of your phone as shown in the picture above.

2.KYM App

To check the validity of your mobile phone through KYM App, follow these steps.

• Download and install KYM App on your phone.
• Open it and allow all the required permissions.
• Type your IMEI in the given blank box or even you can scan your IMEI through Scanner button next to blank box if you have any secondary phone.
• Tap on Verify button after entering or scanning IMEI, this will show you every hidden detail regarding your phone as shown in the picture below.

3. Web Portal

You can check Validity of Your Mobile phone via Web Portal of KYM. Just type your mobile number in the box, Enter OTP from your phone and then enter your IMEI of your phone. This will show you every detail of your phone like in step 1 and step 2.
