Oppo has finally announced the very first stable update of their operating system, the ColorOS 14 version for Oppo devices. ColorOS 14 brings back and improves Aquamorphic Design with new sound effects, colors, and interactions. The ColorOS Team partnered with professionals to study users’ audio preferences, resulting in new sound effects. The update includes Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and global sound designs. The Aquamorphic Coloring System adapts to your device’s status and content, intelligently matching colors for a more effective and intuitive user experience.
ColorOS 14 introduces Aqua Dynamics, a new design for easier user interactions. It expands traditional forms like bubbles and panels from the Status Bar to show important information seamlessly. The Always-On Display (AOD) feature, Homeland, is enhanced with a new GO Green AOD, aiming to raise awareness about climate change. It includes animations related to the environment that change based on your daily step count, promoting reduced carbon dioxide emissions when walking instead of using other forms of transportation.
AI-Powered Ease of Use
ColorOS 14 introduces Smart Touch, an AI tool that helps with daily tasks by selecting content from apps. The new File Dock on the Smart Sidebar lets you share content across apps through split-screen, floating windows, or the File Dock itself. It syncs across devices for increased productivity. Additionally, ColorOS 14 features Smart Image Matting, allowing you to separate subjects from images or paused videos on your smartphone, and edit them using various modes.
