A bit of good news for Oppo users those who are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Android 14 x ColorOS 14 version for their Oppo phones; Recently, Oppo announced the Open Beta testing of Android 14 based on ColorOS 14 for Oppo A57 Pro, Oppo A77 Pro, Oppo Find X5, & Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G devices.

Known issues before Applying

As this is the early version based on Android 14 x ColorOS, it may contain some bugs. Some of them are known. You can read them before applying.

The Open Beta Test version is not stable. After updating to the version you must have the patience to tolerate the instability of the Open Beta and accept all the risks that may be caused by using this version.

2. Please backup important personal data before updating to avoid data loss caused by incompatibility or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. After updating to the latest Open Beta Test version, the Operating System will do several actions to optimize your device automatically. This may lead to your device heating, lagging, and having fast battery draining.

We recommend you turn off the screen and charge your device for a whole night after it’s successfully updated. Or keep using the device and it should become normal within a few days.

4. Some third-party applications are not compatible with Android 14.

Therefore, after updating your device, these applications might not be available or have technical issues including lagging and crashing in your device. Please try to update these applications to the latest version in App Market.
