Realme’s upcoming Realme UI 5.0 x Android 14 update has finally reached Realme 11 devices in India. This early access is kind of a beta program through which Realme 11 users can get an experience of upcoming Realme UI 5.0 x Android 14 update features on their devices before the public release.

Realme 11 Gets Realme UI 5.0 x Android 14 Update

The tech giant has announced the Realme UI 5.0 update based on the latest Android 14 version for Realme 11 users. Currently, Realme 11 users in India can apply for the beta update through the Early Access Program. This update will allow you to get a taste of Realme UI 5.0 version features and improvements on your device.

However, being a beta update, this update contains some known issues and bugs therefore it’s not recommended to install it on your primary device but if you are okay with these bugs then you can proceed. The application channel will open on 27th January 2024. The applications will be accepted in batches and only limited seats are available.

• Adds File Dock, where you can drag and drop to transfer content between apps and devices.

【Security and privacy】

• Improves photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps.

【Aquamorphic Design】
• Adds Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamps the system notification sound
• Improves system animations by making them even smoother.

Known issues

• When using floating windows, you may not be able to slide the desktop; you can pull down the status bar to fix it.
• Glance Lock-screen is not available in Realme UI 5.0 Early Access; this function will be available in the following versions.

How to Apply for Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Program?

• Make sure your Realme 11 5G has a 60%+ battery.
• Update your device to the required UI version: RMX3780_13.2.0.500(SP03EX01)
• Open Developer Mode. (Settings → About device →Version → Version Number→ Click the version number for 7 consecutive times)
• Apply for Early Access via the Software Update Application channel: (Settings → About device → Click on the “realme UI 4.0” banner at the top → Click on the three dots in the top right corner → Beta program →Early Access →Apply Now → Submit your details and finish the apply).
