WhatsApp Voice Chats Feature for Large Groups
WhatsApp is now rolling out the Voice Chats feature for large groups for Android and iOS users. With the new update, WhatsApp is making it easier to communicate in a group by introducing a new way to start voice calls by sending silent push notifications without interrupting everyone else in the group.

When someone starts a new voice chat in the group, a silent push notification will be sent to other members of the group and other group members will be able to see all the details of the voice chat from the header section and everyone can join and leave the voice chat at any time. WhatsApp also mentioned that these voice chats are end-to-end encrypted, ensuring that the members involved in the voice chat can listen to its content.
The voice chat feature is available in groups with members from 33 to 120 and during the beta testing of this feature, WhatsApp also tested this feature in smaller groups. This feature is currently not available for linked devices. Users can get access to voice chats by updating to the latest version available on the Google Play Store and App Store.
