WhatsApp plans to add a shortcut to open AI-powered chats from the Chats tab

Meta-owned WhatsApp delivered lots of new features and useful shortcuts through the beta updates of their own app. Now the Company is working on another shortcut that will speed up the access of AI-powered chats directly from the Chats tab. This new shortcut is currently available in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android and WhatsApp plans for its wider rollout.

WhatsApp has introduced a new shortcut that will make it easier to open the AI-powered chats directly from the Chats tab. The new feature or shortcut has been spotted in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.26 and is currently available on the Google Play Store. The new shortcut icon will be available in the Chats tab where we have access to our all messages. WhatsApp will add a new icon for the shortcut right above the icon to start a new chat.

WhatsApp has rolled out many shortcuts in the past few months that make it easier to use the app. The new feature will significantly improve the user experience of the app. Also, it will utilize the time for opening the AI-powered chats. You will have direct access to the AI-powered chats from the main chats tab. This new feature is visible only to some selected beta testers and the Company is planning to roll out the same feature for the broader audience but currently, the date is still unknown.
