WhatsApp is adding Skip forward and backward feature for videos

WhatsApp is rolling out a video skip forward and backward feature for videos by which you can double tap on both sides of your screen to forward or backward.

WhatsApp users were demanding the video feature tools such as the ability to skip the video forward or backward. Recently, WhatsApp for Android beta 2.23.24.6 version on the Google Play Store brings a new video skip forward and backward feature that will allow users to navigate within the videos they receive or send to someone. It is now adding more and more features such as an Alternate profile picture to mask your information that definitely secures the information.

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called skip forward and backward, especially for videos you send or receive in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.6 version available on the Google Play Store. This feature will make navigation easy within the video by double tapping on both sides of the video. When a user will double tap on the right side of the video, it will be skipped to forward and vice-versa. This new feature will make a lot of difference for watching videos on WhatsApp.

In Addition, this feature will save time with the ability to skip the most crucial part of a video or rewind to rewatch. Also, people are now more comfortable with the double tap feature when they are watching any video whether it’s YouTube or any video streaming app. This new feature is currently in beta testing and will be available to a wider audience in the coming weeks.
