Xiaomi has finally started the rollout of its latest HyperOS operating system for Redmi 12 5G/POCO M6 Pro 5G devices globally. Previously, the HyperOS update was only limited to some selected beta testers but now this update is widely rolled out for everyone with the latest system optimizations and features.

The Chinese tech brand has started rolling out the latest HyperOS update for Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G devices globally with OS1.0.3.0.UMWMIXM firmware version brings the latest Android 14 version along with the January 2024 Android security patch level. Now, the POCO M6 Pro 5G is the rebranded version of Redmi 12 5G therefore both devices are receiving the same update.

What’s New in HyperOS?

Well, Redmi 12 5G/POCO M6 Pro 5G are budget 5G devices from Xiaomi therefore, Xiaomi has compromised with features for both phones such as you won’t get blur around notification or control centre and there will be no magazine feature in the lock screen customizations. Also, you also won’t be able to use app closing animations as they are restricted in budget Xiaomi phones.

However, Xiaomi has improved its animations, privacy, and security-related features in the latest HyperOS update on all devices. You will get a new font which is MiSans and a modern design in all system apps will be there.
