Realme is bringing Realme Note 1: Specs and Launch Date Revealed
Realme has announced it will soon launch its first smartphone under the new Note series, called the Realme Note 1. The Note 1 will compete with phones like the Infinix Note 30 and Redmi Note 13 when it hits the market later this month.
The Note 1 will join Realme’s growing lineup of smartphones, which already includes several different series targeting various market segments. Realme is positioning the Note 1 as an affordable phone with premium features and specs.
Display and Design
The Realme Note 1 will sport a 6.67-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate. This will provide a smooth and responsive display for gaming, videos, and daily use.
The Note 1 is expected to have a contemporary design with slim bezels around the display. Realme will likely offer the phone in multiple colour options to appeal to younger buyers.
Camera
Camera specs seem promising on the Note 1. The rear camera system consists of a 108MP main lens, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro shooter. This versatile array should allow for detailed landscape shots, crisp ultrawide images, and closeup macro photography.
The front selfie camera comes in at 16MP, which should provide clear shots for video calls, social media, and more. Additional camera features like Night Mode and AI Scene Recognition are also expected.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, Note 1 is rumoured to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 chipset. While not the most powerful processor, it should deliver solid performance for everyday use. Realme will likely offer the phone in 6GB or 8GB RAM variants, along with 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage.
Powering the phone will be a large 5,000mAh battery. With 67W fast charging support, the Note 1 should charge up quickly when running low. Realme claims the phone can reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes.
Other Features
Some of the other notable features of the Realme Note 1 include an in-display fingerprint reader for secure unlocking, dual speakers with Hi-Res audio certification, and Realme’s latest Android 13 interface.
Pricing and Availability
Realme has announced that the Note 1 will launch in India on January 24. Pricing is not confirmed yet, but considering the positioning and rumoured specs, the phone should have an affordable price tag between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000.
The Note 1 will be sold online via Realme’s website and Flipkart. Offline availability will be across Realme partner stores in the country. With its competitive specs and pricing, the Note 1 looks to be an exciting new affordable option for Indian smartphone buyers when it hits shelves later this month.
