OnePlus 8T gets OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 update with January 2024 Android security patch in India
OnePlus has started rolling out the latest OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 OTA update to OnePlus 8T users in India. This update brings several new changes and features along with the latest January 2024 Android security patch level that will enhance the system security.
The tech giant is rolling out the latest OxygenOS 14-based, a new OTA update with IN: KB2001_14.0.0.300(EX01) firmware version in India, bringing several new improvements for OnePlus 8T users. This update has been rolled out in India in batches and will be gradually available in other regions over the coming weeks.
With the latest update, OnePlus has improved the system’s stability, performance, and battery life. Moreover, this update fixes an issue where the fingerprint icon might remain on the screen even when the device is unlocked. Also, the camera quality of the device has improved.
The one major drawback of this update is the removal of the Background Stream feature from the OnePlus 8T device which allows you to stream YouTube videos without a subscription just by using this feature.
