Nothing has rolled out the latest Nothing OS 2.5.1 closed beta update for some selected users. This is an early version of Nothing OS 2.5.1 version for the Phone (1) and the Company has already announced that it will receive the Nothing OS 2.5 open beta version by the end of December 2023.

- New ‘Atmosphere’ wallpaper effect: Transform your photo into a dynamic wallpaper that brings motion to colors on your home screen and seamless transitions between lock and home screens.
- New ‘Glass’ wallpaper effect: Add a Glass filter to give your favorite wallpaper a unique and special appearance.
- Introduced solid color wallpapers for a cleaner Home Screen appearance.
- Added a monochrome color theme in the basic color section.
Glyph Interface
- 17 Glyph Progress integration for Google Calendar. Keep track of your upcoming events with a 5-minute countdown on the Glyph Interface.
- Glyph Timer now supports time presets, allowing you to quickly set your desired duration.
You can now access Glyph Timer directly from the lock screen without unlocking the device. - Added an option to open the Glyph Timer popup by tapping instead of holding to accommodate for the Quick Settings widget.
- Added a new Glyph animation when NFC is used.
- Improved the logic of Flip to Glyph.
Gesture
- Customizable double-press power button to quickly access a chosen feature. Just head to Settings > System > Gestures.
- More Lock Screen shortcut options like Do Not Disturb, Mute, QR code scanner, and video camera.
