MIUI Monet Theming: Trick to Enable On Any Xiaomi Phone?

Monet theming is one of the coolest features from the Android 13 last year but Xiaomi didn’t implement this feature into MIUI 14, but you can enable system-wide Monet theming on any Xiaomi phone with the help of Magisk and a proper guide which we will share with you in this post.

What is Monet Theming?

Last year, Google implemented one of the best Android 13 features called “Monet Themeing”. This feature actually uses your wallpaper colors and that color applies to every application of your phone in the background. Google called it “Material You Design” as the color changes with your wallpaper. Since this feature is already available in most of the Google Apps right now. Some of the users like this feature very much and some don’t.

Xiaomi’s Monet Theming?

See, Xiaomi didn’t implement this feature into MIUI 14 last year and users were waiting for this feature to arrive on their phones. Companies such as Samsung, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, etc. implemented this feature along with Monet icons or themed icons which change your icon’s color according to the wallpaper.

But after the launch of MIUI 14 into Global, Xiaomi implemented the Monet icons feature for the users but still as of now there is no official announcement regarding the Monet theming feature.

MIUI Monet Project/theming as the name suggests is a way to enable Monet theming on Xiaomi phones with the help of Magisk or KernelSU. This project is started by geoorg30 and recently he released its 10th version which is known as “The Anniversary Release”. This project allows Xioami users to activate Monet theming on their phones system widely. It supports most of the Xiaomi stock applications.

Requirements to Enable Monet Theming on Xiaomi Phone

Officially, there is no such method to enable Monet theming system widely on any Xiaomi phone but a developer geoorg30, made a Magisk Module to enable Monet theming on any Xiaomi phone with the help of Magisk. You have to root your phone with the latest Magisk or you can follow the same method with KernelSU too.

Guide to Enable Monet Theming on Xiaomi Phone

To enable Monet Theming on Any Xiaomi Phone, follow these simple instructions:

• Download MIUI Monet Project V10 on your Xiaomi phone.
• Open Magisk or KernelSU on your phone.
• Tap on the Modules section in Magisk and click on Install from Storage button.
• Choose the MIUI Monet Project V10 file that you downloaded in the first step.
• Follow all the instructions on your phone by pressing the volume up and down buttons.

In this way, you can enable the Monet theming on any Xiaomi phone which is rooted.
