The highly anticipated next-generation operating system for Xiaomi devices has already been announced by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on X (Formerly Twitter). Xiaomi is ditching its MIUI for HyperOS and the first device that will get the HyperOS is the Xiaomi 14 series which will run out of the box on HyperOS. The next release of Xiaomi HyperOS will be completely based on the Android 14 version which will significantly improve the performance and security of devices. According to the leaks, Xiaomi is currently testing the beta version of HyperOS based on Android 14 and they have already updated their MIUI System Apps to adapt the new revamped design of HyperOS. Moreover, it is claimed that the HyperOS beta version will be totally different from the Stable HyperOS version.

The Beta HyperOS uses MIUI as a base but the Stable HyperOS version will use a totally different software which won’t be related to MIUI. As of now Xiaomi just updated the layout of Control Center, System Launcher, and all other apps.

HyperOS Release Date: It is officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first Xiaomi device that will come with the new operating system, HyperOS out of the box. The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to launch at the end of October as per the reports and according to the image posted below, both HyperOS and Xiaomi 14 Series will be unveiled on 31st October 2023 in China.
