Xiaomi HyperOS Officially Confirmed to Launch With Xiaomi 14 Series
After getting hundreds of leaks & rumors about MiOS on the internet, Now it’s time to say goodbye to MIUI as Xiaomi officially announced that HyperOS is coming globally with the Xiaomi 14 series which is expected to launch on October 27. The new will be completely refreshed, with no resemblance to MIUI according to Xiaomi team members.
Say Goodbye to MIUI
Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi recently announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Xiaomi HyperOS will debut globally with the Xiaomi 14 series launch. This means the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first device that will come with HyperOS preinstalled. According to some reports, nearly 5,000 software engineers have worked on the new Xiaomi HyperOS and the development started way back in 2017. The key feature of this OS is that Xiaomi has a huge smart ecosystem and a “Full Ecosystem of people, cars, and home” is about to be complete in its closed loop and it will serve a very important role in building a very reliable ecosystem for all Xiaomi products. Lei Jun also shared the first look of Xiaomi HyperOS on the Xiaomi 14 device as shown in the screenshot.
Moreover, Xiaomi HyperOS in China is named Xiaomi PengpaiOS. According to rumors, the Xiaomi 14 series may launch on October 27 and it will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 series. Although, nothing is official about the launch of Xiaomi HyperOS and Xiaomi 14 Series yet.
HyperOS will first launch in China, then globally. Xiaomi 14 series will come pre-installed with HyperOS.
