BGMI 2.9 update features, release date & new changes

BGMI aka Battlegrounds Mobile India introduced its latest BGMI 2.8 update a few days back with lots of new features that were already present in Pubg Mobile 2.8 update. Now, the leaks are spreading on the web regarding the upcoming BGMI 2.9 update that will come by the end of this year. Here are all the new features coming in the BGMI 2.9 update for gamers.

BGMI 2.9 update features

BGMI 2.9 update is not coming very soon as per the rumors but when this version arrives on your device, there will be some super cool changes to the gameplay as lots of new features will be introduced in the next BGMI 2.9 update. The return of M416 Glacier

According to some leaks, the BGMI 2.9 update could return the most popular M416 Glacier skin which is quite rare skin in the game as the new update will bring winter mode.

A New Theme Mode

There are high possibility that Tencent could introduce a new winter-themed mode, which will have snow effects and a new X-Suit with special abilities and emotes.

Vikendi 2.0 Map

It is expected that Tencent could bring the Vikendi 2.0 map with the new update which was announced several years ago, players can experience a remastered version of the new Vikendi map in the game which will have better graphics and performance.

Snowboard Feature

The highly anticipated BGMI 2.9 update will bring a dedicated winter theme along with a snowboard feature that lets players glide on the snow and perform tricks.

A4 Upgraded Weapon

Every new royale pass in BGMI comes with a new weapon and there are high possibilities that the new update could bring a new upgraded weapon which can be an assault rifle with some special features.

Revamp of MK12 gun

MK12, the gun of Livik can be added to other classic maps in the next update with a different model.

New Changes in WOW Mode

The BGMI 2.9 update could bring some new changes in WOW mode such as the ability to transform yourself into different things. Players can also use some vehicles there.

Level 9 Upgrade gun

A new level 9 upgraded gun, which will have enhanced stats and effects can be added in level 8 and level 9.

BGMI 2.9 Update release date

The BGMI 2.9 update release date is not official yet, but when Tencent releases the Pubg Mobile 2.9 update for global users, after that the chances of the BGMI 2.9 update will become high. As per the rumors, the expected date of the BGMI 2.9 update is starting of December 2023 but it is not official.
