BGMI 2.5 Early Update Experience on Android Phone

As you know the BGMI 2.5 Update is now available for both Android & iOS platforms in India, servers are also working fine but do you know that the latest BGMI 2.5 update is not optimized as of now?

BGMI 2.5 Update Details

Battlegrounds Mobile India is now available in India and the latest version of the game is BGMI 2.5 update whereas in Global PUBG Mobile the version is PUBG Mobile 2.6 which is also the latest for other regions except India. Since the game is now available on both Android & iOS platforms in India, gamers tried the very first update on their devices and faced some serious issues which I will explain in this post.

BGMI 2.5 Update Bugs & Glitches

I played BGMI on my Xiaomi Mi 11X which is powered by Snapdragon 870 Chipset and is capable to handle even 90fps BGMI. Here’s what I experienced after playing BGMI 2.5 on my phone.

Server-related Notification Bug

Since i played BGMI on my phone and what I noticed is when you open the game every time it will show you that notification regarding server information which will be removed soon by Krafton, Seriously this is annoying for some of the users, if you want to fix this just tap on the cross icon on the top right corner, this will remove that notification on temporarily basis.

Laggy or Choppy Experience

The second thing I noticed is that the game sometime becomes choppy or feels laggy. Now Krafton also addresses that in-game sharing and 90fps options are not available in the current version as the developers are working on it to get the optimized experience.

High ping issues

I asked my subscribers to share their BGMI 2.5 gameplay experience in my telegram channel and some users faced high ping issues, also I noticed when you tap on the start button to enter the match, it will show you that your current server has a high ping issue notification and literally in BGMI you can’t change your server, default is India and this game only works in the Indian region.

Sound Delay issues

Some other users also reported their bugs to me saying that the game is not running smoothly even on iPad, another one reported that there is a sound delay problem in the game.

Now these are the reported issues as well as my experience with the latest BGMI 2.5 update. Since this is the first update for BGMI, the next update will bring some major and minor improvements in the gameplay, hopefully, 90fps will also come for supported devices as Krafton is working on it.
