11 Xiaomi Smartphones set to Receive HyperOS update
Xiaomi is preparing to roll out its custom Android-based HyperOS updates to 11 of its smartphones, according to information spotted on the company’s servers. The updates will bring the latest Android version and optimization enhancements to both new and old Xiaomi devices.
HyperOS is Xiaomi’s customized version of Android that offers a smooth user experience, improved battery life and additional features not found in stock Android. The upcoming updates are based on Android 14 and Android 13.
Here are the 11 Xiaomi smartphones that will be receiving HyperOS updates soon:
- Xiaomi 12T Pro
The flagship Xiaomi 12T Pro is slated to receive the HyperOS 1.0.1.0.ULFEUXM update based on Android 14. This update is currently undergoing internal testing under the code name “diting”.
- Xiaomi 12 Pro
Xiaomi’s 2022 premium phone, the 12 Pro, will get the HyperOS 1.0.2.0.ULBEUXM update powered by Android 14. The internal test version is called “zeus”.
- Xiaomi 12 Lite
Two HyperOS versions are in development for the Xiaomi 12 Lite – 1.0.2.0.ULIMIXM and 1.0.1.0.ULIEUXM, both based on Android 13. The test code name is “taoyao”.
- Xiaomi 13T
The recently launched Xiaomi 13T has a HyperOS 1.0.2.0.UMFMIXM update in testing based on Android 14. The internal name is “aristotle”.
- Xiaomi 13
Xiaomi’s 2023 flagship, the Xiaomi 13, has two HyperOS versions in development – 1.0.1.0.UMCTWXM and 1.0.2.0.UMCEUXM, both running Android 14. The code name is “fuxi”.
- Xiaomi 13 Pro
The top-end Xiaomi 13 Pro is getting the HyperOS 1.0.3.0.UMBEUXM update based on Android 14 under the test name “nuwa”.
- Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G
A HyperOS 1.0.1.0.THGMIXM update powered by Android 13 is in development for the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. It is internally called “sweet_k6a”.
- POCO F5 Pro
The POCO F5 Pro has the HyperOS 1.0.3.0.UMNEUXM update in testing based on Android 14. The code name is “mondrian”.
- POCO X5 5G
An Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0.3.0.UMPMIXM update is in the works for the POCO X5 5G going by the name “moonstone”.
- POCO X5 Pro 5G
Two HyperOS versions – 1.0.2.0.UMSMIXM and 1.0.1.0.UMSEUXM based on Android 14 is being tested for the POCO X5 Pro 5G under the name “redwood”.
- Xiaomi Pad 6
Three HyperOS updates are in development for the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet – 1.0.3.0.UMZEUXM, 1.0.4.0.UMZMIXM and 1.0.2.0.UMZINXM, all based on Android 14. The code name is “pipa”.
